Blue Lock Episode 14: Release Date, Speculation, Watch Online

Episode 13 of Blue Lock was my favorite episode yet – we got to see Isagi, Nagi, and Bachira battle against the strongest players in Blue Lock. While the match was incredibly thrilling and entertaining, Isagi’s team losing was a disappointing yet unsurprising conclusion.

Even though he wanted to stick with Isagi and team Z till the very end, Bachira joined Itoshi’s team, meaning Isagi would have to defeat them to get him back. Here are the latest updates.

Episode 14 Speculation

The next episode will place Isagi and Nagi back at the start of the third round, while Isagi aims to get Bachira by his side. Isagi will have to play against Bachira at some point. Even though Isagi doesn’t have him anymore, it is possible that Nagi’s strength teamed up with his, should be enough for them to survive.

We could also see the next 3×3 battle, and the next match will feature Kunigami and Chigiri with the third person they choose on their team with them. The episodes will feature more competitiveness from now on.

Episode 13 Recap

Isagi scored a goal by turning one of his shots into a goal thanks to some excellent passing by Bachira, Nagi, and Isagi. However, Itoshi Rin tied them down with a powerful goal from the kickoff within a short period.

Aryu and Tokimitsu then scored solo goals to come after this. Nagi devised a strategy after the score reached 3-1 to get all three players to play within 15 meters of one another so they could pass to each other easily. During this moment, Bachira discovered a scoring opportunity for Nagi and, through his pass, compelled him to take advantage of it.

Isagi and his squad still had a chance when the score changed to 3-2. Itoshi once again attempted to score from the kickoff at this point. Itoshi was about to take a corner kick when Isagi sprang into the air to stop the ball. Itoshi could score off the corner kick while Isagi positioned himself in the penalty area.

Isagi was then man-marked by Itoshi as Isagi’s team tried to score a goal after that. Isagi was in despair until Itoshi quickly overtook him, snatched the ball, and turned around to launch the counterattack.

Itoshi’s team managed to win after scoring their fifth goal of the game, and they were on the verge of moving on to the next round when the players couldn’t decide which player to pick from the opposition team.

Finally, Tokimitsu and Aryu decided they wanted Meguru Bachira to join them. Bachira chose to respect the rules and move on to the fourth stage, even though he wanted to play football with Isagi until the end.

About Blue Lock

Blue Lock is a Japanese manga series written by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and illustrated by Yusuke Nomura. It has been serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine since August 2018. Blue Lock won the 45th Kodansha Manga Award in the shōnen category in 2021.

The story begins with Japan’s elimination from the 2018 FIFA World Cup, which prompts the Japanese Football Union to start a program scouting high school players who will begin training in preparation for the 2022 Cup.

Isagi Youichi, a forward, receives an invitation to this program soon after his team loses the chance to go to Nationals because he passed to his less-skilled teammate.

Their coach will be Ego Jinpachi, who intends to “destroy Japanese loser football” by introducing a radical new training regimen: isolate 300 young strikers in a prison-like institution called “Blue Lock”.
