Black Clover Episode 124 – Release Date, Where to Watch, Updates, Spoilers & Speculation

Black Clover episode 123 came out yesterday, and it was by all means – BORING!

Just kidding, episode 123, as we suspected, went a little away from the action-packed episodes and was a filler episode. And it looks like 124 will be a filler too.

1. Episode 124 Title & Release Date

Episode 124 titled “Nero Reminisces…Part Two”, will release on Tuesday, March 3rd, 2020 between 1:30 am and 2 am PST. It will be another filler episode from Nero’s narrative and will dive deeper into Asta and Yuno’s childhood days.

2. Episode 124 Preview & Speculation

The preview of the episode showed Nero saying, “Hope that can stand against the devil. I decided to wager everything on that wish.”

While Black Clover manga is at chapter no. 240, the anime has crossed 212 chapters already, it looks like we are going to be seeing a few filler episodes for a while now.

As for 124, it will divulge more information on Asta and Yuno’childhood. It seems like Nero saw something in Asta even before he acquired Licht’s grimoire.

The question is – Is it related to Asta and Yuno’s birth? If that is the case, the next episode might not be that boring.

3. Plot of Episode 123 – Nero Reminisces…Part One

Episode 123, titled “Nero Reminisces…Part One,” began with Nero sitting on top of the Black Bulls base (Bull Mode). They are heading towards an unspecified location to research more on the devils.

The whole episode was from Nero’s narrative as she recalls her first meeting with Lumiere Silvamillion Clover, his friendship with Licht, and eventually the massacre of elves.

She then fast forwards it to the point where Lumiere defeated the ancient demon and became The First Wizard King.

Again, fast forward to a few years before the current timeline, we see baby Asta and baby Yuno on the doorstep of the Church in Hage village.

The episode ends with Nero stating that she did saw some hope in Asta and decided to wager everything on him.
