The chapter begins with a flashback of the Black Bulls getting ready to fight Damnatio Kira. Given that Lucius Zogratis had gone to such lengths to get rid of Asta in the first place, Nacht was adamant that they needed to assist him in returning to the Clover Kingdom by whatever means necessary.
The Black Bulls were to be prepared to perish because Damnatio was stronger than a Supreme Devil. Gordon and Henry performed a combined spell to drain Damnatio Kira’s mana, effectively ending the strength of his scales.
Damnatio, on the other hand, slashed the Black Bulls’ base in half with his sword. He said that what he was doing was just because he had both the scales and the sword to make a decision and carry it out.
Nonetheless, the Black Bulls could fight on as Grey continued to cure the injured. Damnatio was astounded to see the Black Bulls disregarding the disparity in their abilities and launch suicidal attacks.

Asta worried that every Black Bull member had died in Hino Country. The chapter then returned to the battle as Secre Swallowtail used her Sealing Magic spell to heal her fellow Black Bull warriors. Except for Grey and Gauche, all Black Bulls were spotted returning to combat.
