Chapter 355 begins with William attacking Lucius after Yami shouts for Jack. Lucius shouts that he is what he is because of Julius, and he will stop Lucius at the cost of his own life. Lucius claims that William is not his opponent. As soon as the captain touches a time magic spell, his body starts to decay. Lucius says that William doesn’t have the power to resist him.

Yuno then tells Lucius, “There’s no way I can forgive you, Lucius Zogratis. But it’s not that I’ll defeat you because I can’t forgive you. I’ll do it because I’m the man who’ll become the Wizard King!!” Lucius comments: “You really are the one I have to destroy.”

Lucius and his Paladins take their first steps toward the Clover Kingdom. The entire country’s Magic Knights had arrived to fight the Paladins. The Clover Kingdom also warned the neighboring countries – Heart and Diamond Kingdom – about a possible attack, as they were also seen preparing their forces.
While waiting, Charlotte went to Yami to apologize for avoiding him for so long. On the other hand, Yami did not mind and instead invited Charlotte to join her for a cup of tea after the battle. He wanted to talk to her about something, and she gladly accepted his invitation.
Morgen accompanied Lucius to the Clover Kingdom. Jack initially confused Morgen with Nacht. Morgen, however, attacked Jack in his Paladin form as soon as he realized this, chopping off his left arm and ripping a hole through his body. As Morgen greeted him, Yami was shocked to see him.
