Chapter 297 of the Black Clover manga came out last week and it was mind-blowing. We all expected Noelle to become stronger during her training with the elves and their Ultimate magic, but getting a new mode on par with the arcane stage wasn’t something I anticipated.
Tabata sensei really one-upped us in this chapter and I love it. It seems like our brash girl Noelle who lacked the basic control of mana has started becoming as strong as her mother – the strongest Magic Knight back then, Acier Silva.
In the next chapter, we’ll likely see Vanica defeated (just like Dante) and the story will move on to Yuno vs Zenon.

The chapter starts with the cover art of Noelle’s new saint armor that looks absolutely stunning. Right after Vanica falls down after being impaled by Noelle – Megicula begins to sprout out of her body in a quite grueling way.
But that doesn’t stop Noelle and her new power as we see her completely destroying Megicula x Vanica! The chapter ends with Noelle standing on top of Vanica and claiming that she’s lost.

The chapter starts with Noelle showing her Saint mode Valkyrie armor for the first time and it looks awesome!
Vanica tries to attack her using her Blood x Curse magic but Noelle is able to defeat her attack in a matter of seconds. It goes without saying that Noelle has become very very powerful now – even Rill says so.
The best moment was definitely the middle of the chapter when Undine asks Noelle to finish Vanica quickly and the former asks for 30 seconds. I have never seen Noelle so confident and it was amazing!
Vanica suddenly goes into nostalgia from when she fought and got defeated by Acier Silva – Noelle’s mom.
The chapter ends with Noelle impaling Vanica in the same way Acier did.
