Over the past couple of weeks, most of the world has been put on lockdown due to the COVID 19 pandemic.
Many big events, movie openings, and such are getting canceled or postponed every day. However, the biggest blow to the manga readers came out yesterday.
Due to an unprecedented health issue, Shueisha’s office has also been closed for two weeks. Due to the same reason, many Shonen mangas are going at least on a 2-week hiatus, if not longer.
Black Clover manga released its 247th chapter today, titled “Battlefield: Heart Kingdom.” It was published under Weekly Shonen Jump’s 20th issue. Sadly, after that, the manga is on a 2-week hiatus, so chapter 248 will not be released till 27th April 2020.
Well, this is quite sad since Black Clover manga is in its best and the fiercest arcs — Spade Kingdom arc. First, we saw the spectacular battle between the two arcane mages, Dante & Yami, which showed the growth of our favorite captain.
The current chapter moved the attention of the battlefield to the Heart Kingdom instead. We saw Luck and Leopold fighting against Vanica’s Dark disciples. And, much to our surprise, the ever-powerful LUCK WAS GETTING BEATEN BY THE SCRUFFY SHEEP GUY!
It will be very interesting to see how Tabata sensei will show Luck’s growth in the next chapter, even though we will have to wait more than 2 weeks for it!
