While the people thought it to be like every other shonen anime around the corner, Yūki Tabata’s Black Clover has been distinguishing itself since the beginning of Elf Resurrection arc.
Recently, the manga is following the events of Spade Kingdom arc as the Dante, and the rest of the Dark Triad travel to Clover & Heart Kingdom to secure some arcane stage mages.
1. Chapter 246 Release Date
Chapter 246 of the Black Clover manga will releases on Sunday, April 5, as per the Shonen Jump’s Weekly Schedule. The chapter is yet to have a title. The next chapter will continue the breathtaking battle between Yami and Dante.
2. Chapter 246 Speculations
The next chapter will surely be something to look out for. It looks like our favorite captain has done some training in the past six months. Yami’s new powers, such as the combination of Mana Zone and Ki and the mighty Black Moon has undoubtedly made him stronger than the “Lioness” Mereoleona.
Yami may have trampled on Dante like he was nothing, but Dante still has not used 100% of the devil’s power. Next chapter might see Dante going toe-to-toe with Yami, if not stronger, as he amps up devil’s power to 80 or 100%
Another possibility is Dante taking a break for it with a promise to come back!

No, Black Clover manga is not on any break or hiatus. We expect the manga to be released as per Weekly Shonen Jump’s schedule.
6. Chapter 245, “Dante vs. the Captain of the Black Bulls” Plot
Chapter 245 starts with Yami arriving on the scene, and him getting angry as he sees his crew defeated by Dante. Dante uses his gravity magic to crush Yami under gravity; however, our angry-hunk is unfazed by mere gravity!
It is revealed that Asta and the gang were not the only ones training — Yami has been training for the past six months as well. Now, Yami has the mastery of both Mana Zone and Ki, and he has learned a black hole-like spell which devours magic in the surrounding area — Dark Magic: Black Moon.
The fight then continues into hand-to-hand combat and a sword fight. Yami being unfazed by the gravity magic, not only goes toe-to-toe with Dante at 60+% of devil’s power but manages to cut him!
