Ch 337 of ‘Black Clover’ Confirms Asta’s Arrival at Yami’s Homeland

Chapter 337 of Black Clover finally shows where Asta has washed up after his devastating battle with Lucius. Turns out, fans were right about him being transported to Yami’s homeland.

Asta wakes up in an unknown room and is greeted by a man who looks suspiciously similar to Yami. He introduces himself as Ryuudou Ryuuya, the shogun of Hino Kuni. Hino is also called ‘The Land of the Sun’ and is far from the Clover Kingdom.

It looks like the shogun was almost expecting Asta’s arrival. Ryuuya says that his eye, which is covered by an eyepatch, can see everything. He further claims that if Asta were to go back to fight again, he would be defeated in an instant. (No surprise there.)

It was funny how both the guys bonded over Yami’s clumsy habits and overeagerness. Now we know that Liebe is safe and that even in a far-off country, people know about devils. Asta is offered to stay in Hino Kuni and train.

Ryuuya then reveals that he is a childhood friend of Yami. Can friends really look that alike? Apparently, the friends haven’t seen each other since Yami was 13 years old. Coincidentally, that is when Yami can be first seen in the manga.

In Hino, the usage of ‘ki’ is a common concept, and they also use katana. The only ‘ki’ users we have seen so far are Asta and Yami, so reaching this country is bound to help Asta with his development.

Asta is surrounded by people who use ki and physical abilities more than mana users. Here, he can train with people who understand his capabilities. The strange girl with the katanas might even become Asta’s training partner.

Tabata-sensei must have already planned a training arc for the protagonists before they head on to the boss fight.
