A new leak suggests that ‘Black Butler: Public School Arc’ might be split into two cours. The anime might have 12 episodes in each cour.

However, this is just a leak, and we need to wait for the official news to confirm.

This new arc will focus on the level of Ciel as he receives a letter from Queen Victoria telling him that several students at Weston College, one of England’s top public schools, have seemingly disappeared, including a relative of hers named Derick.

Now, Sebastian and Ciel decide to infiltrate Weston College to uncover the truth behind the students’ disappearances. How they manage to solve the mystery forms the crux of the story.

The Public School Arc is known for its elaborate plotline and excellent character development. This arc blends its supernatural elements with a Victorian aesthetic and grips the audience.

Kenjiro Okada of March Comes in Like a Lion fame will be directing the anime at Studio Cloverworks. It is likely to be a visual spectacle, so rewatch the previous season while you wait for the new season.
