Black Adam End-Credits Scene Leaked Online, WB Cracks Down on Social Media

DCEU’s 2022 blockbuster-to-be Black Adam is still the talk of the week, but this time it’s for all the wrong reasons. A week before its release in theaters on October 20, 2022, the movie’s end-credits scene was leaked online after its red-carpet premiere night.

The Shazam! spinoff has been in the works for over a decade, with lead actor Dwayne Johnson actively involved in the film’s development since its initial days.

Johnson, who is playing the titular character in the upcoming movie, has made his excitement known to the fans for weeks now. But after the premiere, the end-credits scene started popping up on Twitter and TikTok, which certainly dampened the hype.

According to Variety, WB has cracked down on both social media platforms to erase all content sprouting from the leak to avoid spoilers. But as is usually the trend with DCEU and MCU films, it is almost impossible for fans to ignore such widespread spoilers completely.

Variety has included the spoilers in their report. Still, we’d like to be compassionate towards hardcore fans who think spoilers are sinful and will avoid discussing the leak in our article. But and let’s be honest about this, can you really not guess?

Dwayne Johnson has fought to bring on the big screen one of the ultimate fights, even hounding the studio to include the red-caped superhero at the behest of the fans in his film.

In recent interviews, when asked about the inevitable cameo, Johnson has ended his hopeful answers with the simple words, “Welcome home.” But while fans have not abandoned hope entirely, they are still not expecting to see you-know-who’s return to the DCEU.

If you want to confirm your fears, or generally, in this case, your hopes, we’re sure you can find the exact content of the leaked end-credits scene on Variety or anywhere on the Internet. But we’ll keep our lips sealed for now.

Black Adam will premiere in theaters worldwide on October 20, 2022. So, who’s going?

Black Adam is an upcoming American superhero film based on the DC Comics fictional supervillain, directed by Jaume Collett-Serra. It is a spinoff of the 2019 movie Shazam!, and the 11th film in the DCEU franchise.

Black Adam is the antihero to Shazam and possesses the same powers as the white-caped superhero. But after being imprisoned for 5000 years, he is finally free, and now, the Justice Society of America, a team of superheroes, must stop him before he fulfills his mission to wreak havoc on the world that rejected him.

The film stars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as Black Adam, and joining him are cast members Noah Centineo, Aldis Hodge, Sarah Shahi, Marwan Kenzari, Quintessa Swindell, Pierce Brosnan, and Viola Davis.
