The world of money and politics is strange, and Billions takes us on a journey to experience the nitty-gritty of this dirty genre of life. The showdown between Bobby Axelrod and Mike Prince has been a thing to watch for over seven seasons, and it gets even more intriguing as we move ahead.

One of the main plot points of next week’s episode will be Prince’s recruitment of Andy Salter. He is a charismatic journalist with a large following and knows how to expose large-scale corruption.

Prince will try to use Salter as his mouthpiece and ally in his bid for the White House, hoping to sway public opinion in his favor and discredit his opponents.

However, Salter may not be as loyal or trustworthy as Prince thinks. I believe he surely has his own agenda and will try to jeopardize Prince’s plans one way or the other.

Meanwhile, Chuck will continue to work with Dave to find evidence of Prince’s financial frauds. Talking about Chuck, he will have to deal with the ghosts of his past, namely Ira Schirmer. Ira is a lawyer who was betrayed by Chuck in season 3, and she has returned to get back at him.

Ira will surely demand something from Chuck in exchange for his cooperation, and Chuck needs to be careful not to dig himself in a hole.

Elsewhere, family issues will bug Bobby as he tries to adjust to his new life without Lara and his sons.

He will reconnect with Gordie, his eldest son, who is following in his footsteps as a trader and investor. However, to do that, he will have to deal with Gordie’s rebellious streak and resentment towards his father.

Finally, the title, “Original Sin,” hints at a connection to the past, and the two leads have done unspeakable things in their past lives. Will the episode feature some unexpected horror from the past, reentering their lives? If yes, it is going to be a blast!

Be sure to comment your thoughts on next week’s episode below. Ciao!
