Prince hires Philip Charyn to be his new ‘golden boy.’ It’s later revealed that Philip is Scooter’s nephew, who isn’t very pleased with him being hired into the firm. When Prince’s daughter, Gail yells at Governor Sweeney, it puts the future of his Olympic bid at risk. Gail doesn’t take any of his calls, so Prince calls in a family meeting.
He doesn’t want to strain his relationship with his daughters further, so when Gail refuses to apologize, asserting that it was him who taught her to always speak her mind, he doesn’t push further. However, Gail does offer to apologize and drops by Prince’s office. When he sees her rehearse the apology, he tells her to forget about it because he did raise her to speak her mind. Gail wonders why her words had such an impact on Sweeney anyway and thought of it as too vain. This gives Prince the idea to name the stadium after the Governor, winning his favor.
Kate and Wendy have a conversation about how to sustain your morals in the kind of environment they work in. Taylor makes a play for a huge stock buy for a vegan company called ‘Terravore.’ Kate sees through the play and warns them that it’s going to look like market manipulation and they will have a hard time explaining its legitimacy without any proof. She later helps Taylor legitimize the sale and the firm secures a substantial profit.
