On January 15, the official YouTube channel for Beyblade Burst released the opening theme song “Darkness Turns to Light” and video for Beyblade Burst QuadStrike, the seventh season of the Beyblade Burst anime series. The theme song is performed by the band Our Last Night.
The anime is set to premiere this spring, but an exact release date is yet to be relieved.
The anime’s plot as described by Hasbro is:
“The stage is set for a masquerade tournament, but the Dark Prince isn’t the only belle at this ball! Enter: the masked Blader known as ‘Quadra.’ Wielding her elemental Bey, Lightning Pandora, Quadra has defeated every foe to come her way.
Meanwhile, Quadra’s brother, Pax, is busy studying the elemental powers radiating from a series of mysterious ruins nearby. Bel might be the Dark Prince, but this adventure is full of even darker secrets!”
The first Beyblade Burst anime premiered in Japan in April 2016. The second anime, Beyblade Burst God, was released in April 2017, and Beyblade Burst Chozetsu premiered in April 2018.
It began airing on Canada’s Teletoon channel in September 2016 and on Disney XD for two weeks in December 2016.

Beyblade Burst is a manga and toyline created by Hiro Morita, originally based on Takara Tomy’s Beyblade franchise. The third incarnation of the franchise after the Metal Fight series, the Beyblade Burst launched in August 2015.
The story follows a new protagonist Valt Aoi and his Bey partner Valtryek. Valt gets inspired by his close friend, Shu Kurenai, a Beyblade genius and goes on to compete in the National Tournament to be at the top.
