- Bethesda Customer Support team has been responding to negative reviews left by unhappy players on Starfield’s Steam page.
- Fans are mostly disappointed with the game’s lack of depth and dull open-world exploration.
- As an effort to improve the game, Bethesda has assigned a team of developers solely responsible for working on Starfield.
Starfield started out as a classic Bethesda title, complete with futuristic worlds, starry features, and out-of-this-world characters. However, the game turned out to be “dull” despite its innovative in-game systems. Many resorted to voicing their discontent online, and as expected, the developers also had something to say.
Bethesda has been replying to Starfield’s negative reviews on Steam in an attempt to decompress the heated situation. Members from the Bethesda Customer Support team have been addressing concerns posed by fans which mostly deal with lifeless open-world exploration or the lack of substance.
Many players complained that Starfield does not actually offer much to do. While exploring and building planets sure sounds fun, once done, it loses most of its charm.
In their response, Bethesda just listed the activities one can do in Starfield, such as fly around, shoot objects, mine resources, and loot. While there are several quests and missions to complete, players can try switching it up by changing their characters.
Even though developer replies might provide some resolution, it is still reaching for the stars in a rather monotonous game. Currently, Skyrim has more players than Starfield. This speaks volumes about the collective opinion regarding Starfield.
Bethesda is clearly unhappy with Starfield’s reviews on Steam. While it is a good thing that the developers are responding to unhappy players, it might be time to change things. Bethesda has assigned a team of around 250 developers to work on Starfield. Even after 7 years of development, it looks like Starfield might need a few more months to become what it promised to be.
Starfield is a space exploration game developed by the popular video game company, Bethesda. The game’s teaser launched in 2018, while the gameplay trailer came out in 2022.
Starfield will take players to the deepest depth of space. Being a Sci-Fi game, one can expect it to be brimming with stupendous weapons and supersonic spacecraft while offering a magical tone that is enough to get lost in.
