Many players complained that Starfield does not actually offer much to do. While exploring and building planets sure sounds fun, once done, it loses most of its charm.

In their response, Bethesda just listed the activities one can do in Starfield, such as fly around, shoot objects, mine resources, and loot. While there are several quests and missions to complete, players can try switching it up by changing their characters.

Even though developer replies might provide some resolution, it is still reaching for the stars in a rather monotonous game. Currently, Skyrim has more players than Starfield. This speaks volumes about the collective opinion regarding Starfield.

Bethesda is clearly unhappy with Starfield’s reviews on Steam. While it is a good thing that the developers are responding to unhappy players, it might be time to change things. Bethesda has assigned a team of around 250 developers to work on Starfield. Even after 7 years of development, it looks like Starfield might need a few more months to become what it promised to be.
