1. Basim Replacer by QuilLeeR

Ranging from visual improvements to customizing Basim’s appearance, there are plenty of options for every player. Below are the detailed explanations for what each mod does and how it elevates the experience.

10. Fast Launch by Instanity

The Fast Launch mod allows players to skip all title screens, logos, and images to arrive at the save file. This not only helps the game launch faster but also helps players get straight into the menu by skipping all the intro videos.

If you’re someone who doesn’t like time-consuming loading screens and wants to get into the action right away, then this mod is for you. All you need to do is simply launch the game, and it’ll take you straight to your save file, from where you can jump right in.

9. Disable Chromatic Aberration by Kamzik123

The Disable Chromatic Aberration mod removes the chromatic aberration post-effect from the game that causes color fringing and distortion of some elements in the game and makes the image appear clearer.

This effect is almost in every game nowadays, and it’s up to the player if they want to enable it or not, but since Ubisoft hasn’t provided an in-game option to toggle it off, this mod is the next best alternative.

8. Grack’s Day and Night by GrackNCheese

Grack’s Day and Night mod makes the day and night cycle in the game more realistic and overhauls the visual look of the day and night in the game to appear more lifelike by making the night darker and the daytime less vibrant.

The yellow filter in the daytime gets removed, and the nighttime looks pitch dark as compared to the game’s vanilla blue night sky. It adds more realism and challenge to the game, as performing combat and stealth in pitch darkness isn’t the easiest thing.

7. Isu Outfit Remove Helmet by IBSARP

The Isu Outfit Remove Helmet mod removes the helmet from one of the best outfits in the game, Milad’s Outfit, which players can unlock by collecting memory shards and taking them to the hidden chamber beneath the water of the Northern Oasis.

If you like the outfit and want to use it without replacing it to see Basim’s face, then this mod is for you. The outfit itself is extremely well designed and using it without the mask and with the hood just gives it a more traditional assassin feel.

6. Cloth Physics Improvements by Kamzik123

The Cloth Physics Improvements mod improves the overall cloth physics of Basim’s assassin outfit by limiting its swooshiness and flappiness in order to make it appear realistic and satisfying.

Sometimes, Basim’s garb in the game will appear unnecessarily flappy and will move in an incorrect and unrealistic manner, but this mod eliminates that. You can also mess with the cloth weight (anywhere from 2x to 6x) to your liking.

5. Real Life AC Mirage Reshades by Scottyus1

The Real Life AC Mirage Reshades mod gives the game realistic visuals and better colors. This mod removes the yellow blurriness and sharpens the textures and images to make them appear more detailed.

It may just be a simple re-shade mod, but it makes the game look so much better graphically by tweaking the colors and the overall visual look of the game. The world of Mirage is beautiful by itself, but this mod simply elevates the look and feel of it.

4. Toggle HUD by Halzoid

Toggle HUD by Halzoid | Source: Nexus Mods

The Toggle HUD mod makes AC Mirage way more cinematic and immersive by removing all the HUD elements blocking the screen, like mission names, the navigation bar at the top, the tutorial graphics, etc.

Removing all HUD elements from the screen not only makes the game more cinematic but also more challenging as you’ll have to figure out things like what to do, etc. on your own without almost any help from the game.

3. AC Mirage Eject Height and Sprint Speed Increase by Jintohaku

The AC Mirage Eject and Sprint Increase mod increases and decreases the height of ejects and increases Basim’s sprinting speed. Along with that, this mod also alters a lot of other things, like game speed, swings, jumps, freefalls, etc.

This mod is a whole package. Not only does it do what the title says, but it also tweaks the traversal of the game in some major ways, making it faster and more satisfying and also giving players more control over the game’s traversal mechanics.

2. AC Mirage Skill Points Mod by ModEngine

The AC Mirage Skill Points mod is basically an overpowered mod as it gives players an infinite amount of skill points to spend, which means that they can unlock every skill right from the get-go without having to ever work for it.

If you’re one of those players who doesn’t like the game’s clunky combat, then this is the perfect mod for you, as you can acquire any skill from the beginning and be an overpowered assassin from the start. But I do suggest finishing the game in the intended way first.

1. Basim Replacer by QuilLeeR

The Basim Replacer mod is the best mod for AC Mirage as it allows players to instantly have all the weapons, mounts, and outfits of NPCs in their inventories. Basim’s appearance can be changed to any character like Rayhan Roshan, Ali, or even Eivor from Valhalla.

If you thought the mod would replace Basim’s model with someone else, then you’ll be a bit disappointed, but this is the next best thing. You can practically dress up Basim as any character from the game and also have DLC outfits like Jinn and Fire Demon unlocked (without perks).

About Assassin’s Creed Mirage

Assassin’s Creed Mirage is an action-adventure game developed by Ubisoft Bordeaux and published by Ubisoft. The game is the thirteenth primary installment in the Assassin’s Creed series and the successor to 2020’s Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. While its historical timeframe precedes that of Valhalla, its modern-day framing story succeeds Valhalla’s own.

Set in 9th-century Baghdad during the Islamic Golden Age—in particular during the Anarchy at Samarra—the story follows Basim Ibn Ishaq (a character first introduced in Valhalla), a street thief who joins the Hidden Ones to fight for peace and liberty against the Order of the Ancients,[b] who desire peace through control. The main narrative focuses on Basim’s internal struggle between his duties as a Hidden One and his desire to uncover his mysterious past.
