How do Will and Lisa reconnect in Bel-Air Season 2?
In Episode 5 of Bel-Air Season 2, Will asks Lisa to give him swim lessons which Lisa aces at. However, these lessons bring back their feelings for each other with force.
During the swimming lessons, more than swimming, it was their feelings for each other that got clearer. As he tries to float in the pool, Will claims that Lisa’s voice only brings him peace — an unexpected statement that even Lisa’s expressions plainly tell us.
Lisa shakes off this statement’s effect on her, but it later becomes clear that Lisa has feelings for him too. During the exhibit, as Jackie is conversing with Lisa, Will interrupts and kisses Jackie. This creates tension, and Jackie immediately picks up on it. She tells Will that even if he is over his relationship with Lisa, the latter is not over it.
After the exhibit, Will approaches Lisa to apologize for his PDA and says that he genuinely thought she had moved on. Lisa replies that she is not angry at him but feels stupid for being ‘that girl.’ Will tells him that she is his best friend since moving to Bel-Air, but Lisa claims that it is not enough. She ends their friendship.
This makes it seem like Will and Jackie’s relationship can continue with Lisa no longer in the picture. However, Episode 6 of Bel-Air Season 2 proves us wrong. Read on!
Are Will and Lisa back as a couple in Bel-Air Season 2?
In Episode 6 of Bel-Air Season 2, Will is petty to Lisa after seeing her have an intimate conversation with Carlton. Lisa calls him out on it, and they share a personal conversation. They kiss at the end of the episode, giving us hope about a comeback for their relationship.
Lisa and Carlton have a poetry reading together for Vivian’s fundraiser. As they go over the poem, Lisa shares her feelings for her stepmother, Angela, and expresses how she feels the latter is trying to replace her mother. Will sees them having this conversation that appears intimate. This makes him act petty towards her when he sees her later.
Lisa catches on to it and calls him out for his behavior. She also calls him out for distancing himself from her. She shares her earlier conversation with Carlton with Will regarding her stepmother, upon which Will tells her how he dealt with his father not being around. Lisa then tells him that she feels Carlton is taking advantage of her vulnerability to get closer to her and that she has to walk on eggshells around him.
Carlton hears her conversation with Will, and this causes him to go on drugs. He has his worst outburst and breakdown, and Will replaces him for the poetry recital, which goes beautifully.
At the end of the episode, we see Will and Lisa declaring that they don’t want to give the other space, and they kiss. Boom! The fire for their future has been lit! All Wisa (or Lilliam or just Will-Lisa) shippers, keep your fingers crossed! And Will-Jackie shippers, we never know when the tables turn!
