Bakuten!! is a rhythmic gymnastics anime telling the story of a high school gymnastic team in Miyagi prefecture. Follow Shotaro Futaba as he learns gymnastics while making friends and memories.
This original TV animation by Fuji TV is said to be part of a joint collaboration with Misaki no Mayoiga and Hula Fulla Dance to promote Miyagi, Iwate, and Fukushima prefectures.
Fuji TV announced that the anime will premiere in the notaminA block in April of 2021. Director Toshimasa Kuroyanagi with ZEXCS studios is producing this masterpiece.
The collaboration is to promote the Zutto Oen Project. The project named The “Zutto Ōen Project 2011 + 10…” is a memorandum to the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami which occurred 10 years ago.
The PV of the upcoming anime showcases some scenes from the episodes as well as introduces the characters and their voice actors.
The visual poster reveals the characters Shōtarō Futaba and Ryōya Misato with the rest of the members of the gymnastic club in the background.
Along with Toshimasa Kuroyanagi as the director and Toshizo Nemoto as the composer and scriptwriter, the cast for Bakuten!! is also stellar.
