The Bad Batch Producer Discusses the Possibility of a Boba Fett Cameo

Season 2 of the Star Wars spinoff Bad Batch just premiered on Disney+, and one of the main themes the show will continue to follow is how Omega has found a family in the Bad Batch. But she has another family member, as confirmed in season 1, and one of the show’s producers has opened up about a possible cameo from Omega’s brother.

Clones naturally behave as if all their comrades are their brothers, but it’s different for Omega and Boba Fett. Their genetic makeup dictates that they are a pure genetic replication of Jango Fett and not a modified clone like the others – thus making them actual siblings.

Season 2 of The Bad Batch will also focus on Omega’s past and how she comes to terms with it, so maybe that’s where the demand for a Boba Fett cameo arises. But show producer Jennifer Corbett addressed the rumor and put it to rest in an interview with The Direct. Read her full quote below:

I think many people want that because they are brother and sister, but it’s important for her, at this point in her life, and where her journey is – she’s at a very different place than where Boba is right now.

But who’s to say Fett even knows of his connection to Omega? He never mentions her in his own Disney+ series, and they have never met. Is there a possibility for them to meet in the future? Considering Omega knows of her brother’s existence, we can hold out some hope. But it seems unlikely since none of the Star Wars novels or shows show any records of an interaction between the two.

Corbett already explained that Omega’s story in the Bad Batch series, her connection with her found family, is what the show will focus on, but “never say never.”

We just really wanted to focus on her growth and her interactions with her found family versus the trajectory that Boba’s currently on. But, you know, never say never.

While Boba Fett and Omega’s meeting is not in the cards, the clone has much to learn and explore in the Star Wars galaxy as she returns to Disney+ with season 2 of The Bad Batch.
