Baba Voss Vs Edo Voss: The Stronger Brother in See

Baba Voss vs Edo Voss was a much-awaited fight. However, after the latter broke our protagonist in ways no one had, we knew retribution was coming. In fact, Edo didn’t merely physically hurt Baba but tried to break his mind.

He did this by hitting him where it truly hurt—his wife and his children. While we all know how Season 2 ended between the two brothers, there’s always a question of who is stronger than the other.

Well, it’s good that you’ve come here since I might have an answer for you.

Baba Voss and Edo Voss both have their strengths. The protagonist is a much better strategist, and his fighting technique is superior to the antagonist.

However, Edo Voss is filled with brute strength that can overpower Baba, as it did in the final face-off.

Let’s start with Baba Voss to understand some of his strengths in combat. Right from Season 1, we’ve seen him in the role of a leader, and rightly so. In the very first action scene of the show, his tribe is fighting against some men.

Although only a few people are involved and the scale of the fight scene is much smaller, the tact used is incredible. We see how Baba sets up mechanisms to know where the enemies are.

A simple instance is tethering men on the edge of higher ground in the forest with rope. This way, every time one falls, Baba would know and can attack accordingly. Again, this showcases tact, which we also saw in the final battle in Season 2.

The second instance is when Baba saves Kofun from the bandits. Every single move of his has an intent behind it.

Right from the moment that he splits the first man’s skull into two halves, we know nobody stands a chance against him. The tricks used to deceive the opponent are pretty basic yet perfectly timed.

All this just shows that Baba Voss’ combat skills and techniques are par excellence. Now, let’s look at Edo Voss.

Edo Voss is Baba’s brother and commands brute strength.

But, like his brother, he too is good at setting traps and his position as the General of the Trivantian army is a testament to that. Unfortunately, throughout the second season, there weren’t many combat scenes with Edo Voss, as I would have loved.

However, in the two times that he’s encountered Baba, he managed to trap and capture him as part of an elaborate plan. Although he didn’t do it single-handedly, he was the mind behind it.

With Baba at a disadvantage, the antagonist doesn’t leave the opportunity to hurt him. This was merely a tiny glimpse of how lethal Edo’s blows are.

When it comes to the final fight between the two, the younger brother is literally flinging the other around. He almost manages to shatter his brother’s spine, too.

However, Baba manages to save himself in the final moments because of his technique. He plunges the sword through Edo’s chest, leading to his demise.

Conclusion

Overall, Edo Voss is the stronger brother, whereas Baba Voss is a better combatant. If the former had a better technique, he would’ve won the battle.
