Cour 2 of Attack on Titan: The Final Season will be released on January 9, 2022. Both Crunchyroll and Funimation will simul-stream the anime.

The trailer reveals the final battle of Eren and Reiner. A lot of lives will be riding on the outcome of this fight. (Literally, their whole world is depending on this.)

We get a glimpse of Ymir, the first titan. The person who she obeys will be the one to control all titan-related powers. In short, this power will determine the existence of the Eldians and the rest of the world.

We will also get closer to Eren’s mind and find out what is motivating him to do this anti-hero stuff. As much as Zeke seems to be in control, believe me, he isn’t.

After a long journey, we have to say goodbye to this titan of a franchise. It might have been a bittersweet journey with too much bitterness, but hey, I still love this series like a true sadist.
