The chapter starts with Eren confessing that he had pushed his friends away from him so that they could oppose him later. He became the common threat that would unite humanity against him. 80% of humanity has been wiped, and now there is no impending danger on Paradis anymore.

Ymir was in love with King Fritz, and that is why she submitted under his power even after 2000 years. However, she was able to free herself because of Mikasa.

Eren then confesses that he loves Mikasa and wants her to love him even after he has died. Armin helps break his mask of indifference, and Eren admits that he wants Mikasa to live happily, even if it’s without him.

Armin then wakes up, and Mikasa walks in with Eren’s cut-off head. After both of them cry while hugging him for the last time, Mikasa buries his remains.

Meanwhile, all the Eldians have converted back into humans from their titan forms. The Nine Great Titans don’t exist, and the power of Titans have been taken away forever.

Armin and the others who helped defeat Eren become ambassadors of peace between Eldia and the rest of the world, just as Eren had planned.

Paradis fears that the survivors outside of the island will attack them once again to seek retribution. The Jaeger faction has strengthened its military forces and has united to fight against any outside attacks.
