Let’s take a look at Attack on Titan Chapter 133 release date, raw scans and spoilers.

1. Chapter 133 Raw Scans, Leaks & Spoilers

Raw scans or spoilers for AOT chapter 133 have been leaked partially and the rough translation goes like this:

On board the plane that takes them to the fortress of Slatoa, Armin and his group look at their action plan…

2. Chapter 133 Predictions & Speculation

The next chapter will definitely be a gripping one – well, all of them are. Chapter 132 increased the emotional stakes of the events that are to follow.

Hange’s death seems to have had deep scarring impact on the Alliance and Captain Levi, in particular.

Considering the fact that Levi joined the squad in their flight to Port Acirfa, Levi will fight tooth and nail in the final battle against Eren.

Another speculation for Chapter 133 is that we’ll witness the alliance’ perspective on the destruction caused by Eren, now that they have an aerial view of it.

The Alliance and Eren will converge at Port Acirfa, which according to Yelena is Eren’s second target. This is likely going to be  battleground for the final showdown.

Armin will be contemplating his strategy against Eren – his indecision regarding the course of action – offensive or diplomatic – will only be decided in the moment he faces Eren.

4. Chapter 132 Recap

Chapter 132, titled “Wings of Freedom” begins with the Alliance’ arrival to Odiha where they hope to fix and refuel the ‘flying boat’. The conversation focused on Miss Kiyomi’s request to Hange to find a way to save her motherland Hizuru.

The scene shifts to the alliance attempting to transport the flying boat into the hanger where Armin asks them not to throw away the explosives for future use. The purposes of which are unclear, even to him.

As the work into the flying boat begins, the chapter provides panels of interpersonal interactions where characters get time to weigh previous events. The most notable out of which is the one between Mikasa and Annie.

As they bond, Mikasa claims that she won’t kill Eren and that she’s going to bring the old Eren back. Soon, Yelena reveals to the Alliance what Eren’s second target would be. This decides the next destination for the Alliance – Fort Salta/ Port of Acirfa.

Odiha marks the separation of the Alliance with Miss Kiyomi, Gabi, Falco and Annie heading South to seek refuge and the others heading towards Port Acirfa. The chapter even portrays a heartfelt moment between Reiner and Annie as they gear up to separate ways.

However, events escalate when Onyakopon finds Floch, still alive, as he shoots at the fuel tank of the flying boat. Mikasa is able to kill him by shooting her grappling hook at his throat.  Unfortunately, as time runs out, they hear the sound of the Rumbling over the mountains.

With barely enough time to fix the fuel tank and escape, Hange offers to take responsibility and buy them time. Knowing the implications of her actions, Hange names Armin the next Commander of the Survey Corps.

Levi sends her off with his final words to her,

“Shinzou wo Sasageyo (Dedicate your heart)”

Hange manages to buy them time by killing two of the colossal titans but the massive heat emission inflict fatal burns on her.

The chapter ends with Hange watching the flying boat take flight knowing that she bought them time and reuniting with Erwin and the rest of the Survey Corps.
