ASUS ROG Ally w/ Ryzen Z1 Extreme & 256GB Storage to be Priced at $699

The ASUS ROG Ally is a premium handheld gaming console, featuring AMD’s upcoming Ryzen Z1 processors. There will be two APU options for buyers– Ryzen Z1 Extreme APU with 512GB and Ryzen Z1 with 256GB. The console is designed to deliver the ultimate gaming experience.

Recent reports have leaked the rumored pricing for the upcoming ASUS ROG Ally console. The 8-core variant with Ryzen Z1 Extreme will be priced at $699 whereas the 6-core Ryzen Z1 model will cost $599.

A significant difference between both the variants of the ASUS ROG Ally is that the Ryzen Z1 model will only have a third of the Extreme variant’s GPU power. The former will feature four RDNA3 Compute Units while the Extreme variant will have 12.

Nevertheless, buyers will be gifted three months of Microsoft Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership with their purchase of the ASUS ROG Ally. This unlocks hundreds of games right away and even more so as multiple games are added every month to the Xbox Game Pass.

Since the ROG Ally runs on Windows 11, users can access all online game stores and cloud services, such as the Epic Games store, NVIDIA GeForce Now, PC Game Pass, Steam, and Cloud Gaming from Xbox.
