This week’s episode, ‘Draw a Blank,’ left everyone on the edge of their seats with its shocking cliffhanger, and I suspect it will change the course of the story. Till now, the terrorists were playing it cool, and the passengers were too scared to make a move. However, the tide has turned. The real Armageddon begins next week!

Here are my predictions for what will happen next week. Feel free to agree or disagree with me in the comment section. Without further ado, let’s begin!
1. Episode 4 Synopsis/Speculation
The burning question from this week’s episode is whether the terrorists are using blanks. It ends with Sam and Marcus pointing guns at one another, and a gunshot emanates from the plane. So, who fired the gun?
The answer to this can turn the plot on its head. If the bullets are indeed fake, it’ll expose the terrorists, and the passengers will bulldoze the terrorists in no time.
However, if the gunshot is real, we might start episode 4 with a dead body. Whose dead body will it be, Marcus’ or Sam’s? Or will it be a different person altogether?
Another mystery that has been bugging us since episode 1 is the actual motive of the hijackers. What do they want, and who are they reporting to?
Zahra and Alice Sinclair discover that they are using fake IDs and have no online footprint. However, their motive behind hijacking flight KA29 is still murky.
Perhaps they are a part of the terrorist organization and are using the flight as a bargaining chip to achieve some ulterior motive.
Or maybe they have some personal agenda or political motive they want to fulfill. The itch in my brain won’t be scratched till I find the reason behind this ordeal!
As of now, we can only rely on Zahra Gafoor and Alice Sinclair to investigate further and supply crucial intel regarding the true intentions of the hijackers,
Whatever be it, we can expect the next episode to be utterly bombastic (literally and metaphorically)!

4. Hijack Episode 3 Recap
In episode 3 of Hijack, Sam Nelson and Robin Allen try to alert the authorities that their flight has been hijacked.
The terrorists, led by Stuart, keep close scrutiny on the passengers, and an ambiance of terror prevails everywhere.
Meanwhile, an Egyptian passenger, Yussuf, claims that the terrorists are using fake guns and urges Sam and other passengers to fight back.
Elsewhere, on the ground, Zahra Gafoor and Alice Sinclair investigate further and find that all the terrorists are using fake IDs. They also discover that the flight had a known criminal called Jonty Collins on board.
The episode ends on a cliffhanger as Sam tests Yussuf’s theory by provoking terrorist Marcus to shoot him.
5. About Hijack
Hijack is an upcoming British thriller miniseries created by George Kay and Jim Field Smith. It will premiere on Apple TV+ on June 28, 2023.
Idris Elba plays the main character, Sam Nelson. Other cast members include Archie Panjabi, Christine Adams, Max Beesley, Eve Myles, and Mohamed Elsandel.
The story follows Flight KA29, hijacked from Dubai to London during its seven-hour journey. Corporate negotiator Sam Nelson, a passenger on the plane, must try to use his professional skills to save everyone on board.
