Aoashi Episode 7: Release Date, Speculation, Watch Online

Ashito has finally moved to Tokyo after being selected as one of the only three players who got in through the tryouts.

Being one step closer to his goal, Ashito’s nervous and emotional self is reverted back to what we are used to seeing. An excited and positively beaming Aoi Ashito is looking forward to his future in the team and beyond but the obstacles in his way have barely reared their heads.

The question still remains, does he have what it takes to become the very best like no one ever was, or will coach Nozomi be proven right.

Episode 7 Speculations

Nozomi Sensei might just be right about Ashito not having the skills to make it to the big leagues. Since Ashito has heard the coach’s disapproval, it might turn out that he is unable to perform well in the upcoming match.

We will definitely see Hana cheering for him as she has already proclaimed herself to be a fan of his. Her presence has the possibility of turning things around, but we cannot be sure of that.

We will also get to see Kenji Togashi in action as well as his true nature towards his new teammates.

A lot of variables are at play here, with the fact that the better performing players could now be promoted to the A team, the stakes just got a lot higher.

Episode 7 of the Aoashi anime has been released on Saturday, May 21, 2022. The episode title or preview has not been shown.

Episode 6 Recap

The sixth episode begins with Ashito reaching the Esperion training academy, hoping his friends got selected as well. He is greeted by the sight of the primary league team practicing on the pitch in front of him.

It is then that he discovers that Ohotomo and Tachibana had also been accepted along with him. The gang made their way to their accommodation, where they were handed their kits. Ashito’s happiness knew no bounds as he realized that the kits were free, and he wouldn’t even have to wash them himself.

He is also told that he has a roommate that hasn’t quite arrived yet therefore, he should take his roommate’s kit with him as well.  

The next day, all the members of the new team were supposed to go for a photoshoot for a magazine, a formality that Ashito wasn’t quite aware of. He takes that opportunity to get to know Tachibana’s roommate, Kuroda Kanpei, who got promoted from the junior team.

The Enrollment Ceremony begins and all the coaches give a short intro about themselves until Fukuda Tassuya is called for his speech. He is interrupted by the arrival of the final player, Ashito’s roommate, Togashi Kenji, who was a delinquent with affiliations to a biker gang.

As soon as he introduces himself as the center back, the parents present in the ceremony start whispering disapprovals. Ignoring them, Ashito approaches Togashi and hands him his kit.

He is then asked by a very serious Togashi whether he was a junior member or not. Upon being told that Ashito had been selected from the tryouts, his demeanor changed completely.

Fukuda sensei takes a short moment to rile up the players and immediately announces an intrasquad game with the clause that everyone who performed well would be promoted to the A-team.

All the players are now fired up, but Ashito seems to have something in his mind. He goes to the back of the building to rest, unaware of the fact that the coaches were talking in the room behind him.

Ashito overhears Hana’s arrival, as well as Nozomi sensei claiming that Ashito does not have the skills to go pro and that he will not let a potential failure climb up the ranks on his watch.

Hana takes that comment personally and proclaims that it does not matter what people think of Ashito because she is a fan of his, quite possibly the first in the world.

All of this is heard by Ashito, who is already feeling down, maybe this will affect the upcoming match, or maybe Ashito will prove Nozomi sensei wrong. Only the next episode holds the answers.

Aoashi is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yūgo Kobayashi. It has been serialized in Shogakukan’s seinen manga magazine Big Comic Spirits since January 2015.

The story follows Ashito Aoi, a third year middle school student from Ehime, who meets Fukuda Tatsuya, a “J Youth League” coach.

Even though he’s still rough around the edges, Ashito has such amazing potential that he gets invited to participate in his team’s try-outs in Tokyo.
