Aoashi Episode 10: Release Date, Speculation, Watch Online

In episode 9 of “Aoashi,” we witness Aoi finally achieve his first milestone and cross that first hurdle since joining Esperion Youth. He has managed to learn what it means to kill the ball and then kick it and has improved at a shocking pace, but his journey has only begun.

Just as he had understood one of the basic concepts of soccer, he is faced with a new challenge.

The practice match against the A-Team makes him realize that he is completely blank on the same basics he was expecting his team to follow.

The stars haven’t yet aligned for Aoi as it is evident that he still has a long way to go, but that is a journey he won’t be going through all alone.

Episode 10 Speculations

Aoi, with the help of Togashi and the rest of his friends, Aoi has figured out what Nozomi Sensei meant when he said that the first thing he needed to learn was to “kill it then kick it”.

Having mastered that technique in a surprisingly short amount of time, he has won the favor of his coach, but he is still miles behind the rest of the team.

After facing that shocking loss against the A-Team players even though Aoi and his team were 21 strong.

Bot, the silver lining here is that he now has another opportunity to grow since Nozomi Sensi has given him another assignment. That being, to figure out why out of the 21 only Kuroda and Asari were mad at him.

Aoi will probably have to look for another unorthodox method to find out what went wrong since asking his teammates does not look like a great option.

Although, if Aoi goes through this with the same skill and rapidity as he did with his previous assignment, he will finally begin understanding more about team tactics.

Episode 9 Recap

Eepisode 9 begins with Aoi trying to understand the meaning of “Kill it then Kick it”, late at night with Togashi.

The pair are making little headway since Aoi is one dense fellow, and Togashi is no gem of a teacher either. Not seeing much progress, Togashi decides to demonstrate what he meant and completely stuns Aoi with his display of skill.

Togashi then tells a story of his first meeting with Fukuda Sensei and how he had changed his life with merely fifteen minutes of advice but not spelling anything out for him since he believed that once you figure things out on your own, you remember them forever.

Aoi takes whatever he can from that anecdote because he was busy analyzing Togashi’s movements and had finally figured it out.  They are soon joined by Tachibana and Ohtomo, who continue training with them.

The next morning, Nozomi Sensei organizes a drill using the same tactic. Everyone there expects Aoi to fail miserably, but he manages to surprise them with his sudden growth. Even Nozomi Sensei is taken aback as he admits that now Aoi has finally reached the starting line.

The next day is when things take a wild turn. The B-Team and A-Team join each other for the first time in a joint practice with Fukuda Sensei overseeing it.

The practice has both the teams play a 21 v 11 match against each other, with the A-Team going first with 21 players, followed by the B-Team.

The first match went as expected, the A-Team took it away, but for the second match, the B-Team had the advantage over numbers. They had completely expected to steamroll the opposition, but the exact opposite occurs. 

For Aoi, this isn’t soccer, and that is what constantly bugs him, so one of his teammates suggests they play the soccer they usually play. Aoi takes that idea to heart but soon realizes that regular soccer was also something he wasn’t as familiar with as the rest of his teammates.

For the final push, Aoi makes it to Akustsu, who is playing defense but is unable to take it any further since he notices that something is wrong. In a moment of indecisiveness, he passes it to Kuroda, which is a fatal mistake as the A-Team takes that chance and scores against them once again.

Asari and Kuroda, who were right there with him during his slip-up, are now pissed at Aoi. He was the one who had paraded around the idea of sticking to the basics yet wasn’t aware of them himself.

Nozomi Sensei picks up on that argument and hands him his next assignment to figure out why only Asari and Kuroda were mad at him and what he had done so painfully wrong.

Aoashi is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yūgo Kobayashi. It has been serialized in Shogakukan’s seinen manga magazine Big Comic Spirits since January 2015.

The story follows Ashito Aoi, a third year middle school student from Ehime, who meets Fukuda Tatsuya, a “J Youth League” coach.

Even though he’s still rough around the edges, Ashito has such amazing potential that he gets invited to participate in his team’s try-outs in Tokyo.
