While watching Kuribayashi play, he observed that the player always scans to the left and the right, regardless of how close the ball is to him.

He does it almost unconsciously, like a chicken. Ashito believes Anri encouraged him to observe Kuribayashi for this very purpose, as this practice enables players to be acutely aware of their surroundings.

He was simply emulating the player and turning his head aimlessly, which was problematic for his teammates.

Kuribayashi visited Hana to request that she put together a meal plan for him. He was reading a page that belonged to her when he recognized her genuineness. As she admires him and wants to be a sports nutritionist, Hana accepts the proposition.

Anri stopped by to see how Ashito was doing when he asked her for some pointers on how to master turning his head, an individual drill. She explains the routine drill to him with a few slight modifications, and he commends her ball-handling skills.

Anri is inspired by his bravery and optimism as he has grown significantly since the previous week when he was feeling very depressed about the situation.

Later come scenes from Team B’s meeting where Tachibana blamed himself for not scoring more goals. He went to meet Ashito during his additional training and finds it admirable that he never complains. They went out to dine with other friends so they could relax and have fun.
