Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania Trailer Release Date Revealed

With just two months left until its release, the makers have revealed the release date of Ant-Man 3’s trailer, which is very soon!

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will mark Marvel’s entry into Phase 5 and be the first film of the year 2023. The MCU ended Phase 4 on a high note after The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special garnered positive reviews from both audience and critics.

Phase 5 will cement MCU’s concept of the Multiverse even more in the audience’s minds, and we will get an insight into what is to come from Ant-man and the Wasp: Quantumania.

Anticipation for the film is peaking with every passing day, and the makers have announced the trailer’s release date in a cryptic way.

In a new footage, it was announced that the trailer of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will air during the National College Football Championship game on the sports network on January 9 at 7:30 pm E.S.T. As of now, it is not known at what point in the game the trailer will premiere.

So, what do we know about the plot of the movie?

Kang the Conqueror

Needless to say, the MCU is very adept at keeping secrets. So, only a few details are available about the plot of Ant-Man 3.

The exclusive teaser for the film reveals that Cassie Lang has developed a device to help her connect with the Quantum Realm. Nemesis strikes when it pulls her and her family into the realm.

While trying to find a way back to their world, Cassie, Hope, Scott, and Hank will come across Kang the Conqueror (Jonathan Majors), who is pictured as the next big bad guy of the MCU.

Like Thanos, Kang has been portrayed as an ambiguous character in previous Ant-Man 3 footages. He offers to help Paul Rudd and his family get out of the Quantum Realm, but his motives seem fishy, especially after he mentions killing the Avengers.

In addition to Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lily, Ant-man 3 will feature the return of many other MCU regulars like Michelle Pfeiffer, Michael Douglas, Jonathan majors as a Kang variant, Randall Park as Agent Woo and David Dastmalchian as Kurt.

Moreover, the film will also feature a host of MCU debuts, including Kathryn Newton as Cassie, Bill Murray, and The Good Place’s William Jackson in secret roles.

The only role confirmed by the makers without revealing the cast is that of M.O.D.O.K., a mutated and cybernetically surcharged scientist briefly seen in the teaser.

As has always been the case, the MCU will keep sprinkling new titbits of information ahead of the film’s release to build even more anticipation among the fans. With many unknown variables, it will be interesting to try to sketch the story’s plot ahead of its February 17 arrival.
