Mortal Kombat 1 is just around the corner, and the anticipation has never been higher. Developed by Netherrealm Studios, the game serves both as a sequel to 2019’s Mortal Kombat 11 and a reboot of the series, consisting of a huge roster featuring iconic characters and familiar faces.

Here’s a list of all konfirmed characters for Mortal Kombat 1 so far:

  • Scorpion
  • Sub-Zero
  • Smoke
  • Reptile
  • Kenshi
  • Johnny Cage
  • Liu Kang
  • Kung Lao
  • Raiden
  • Rain
  • Kitana
  • Mileena
  • Tanya
  • Li Mei
  • Ashrah

It’s an absolutely stacked roster with the return of fan-favourite 3D-era characters like Havik, Li Mei, etc., and it’s not even the final roster. In addition to the base one, there’s the new Kameo roster this time, featuring legendary kombatants that can assist you in Kombat and turn the tide of battle.

Mortal Kombat 1 will also introduce the new Kameo mechanic. Kameos are basically assists that can be called upon during battle to aid the player in various different ways. Here’s a list of all konfirmed Kameos so far:

  • Scorpion
  • Sub-Zero
  • Kung Lao
  • Sektor
  • Cyrax
  • Jax Briggs
  • Sonya Blade
  • Kano
  • Stryker
  • Frost
  • Goro
  • Darrius
  • Sareena
  • Shujinko
  • Motaro

Only time will tell who the other Kameos are, but for now, they are the konfirmed ones. It was also konfirmed there will be specific Kameos that are exclusive to the story. For example, the game’s first chapter has Kung Lao as the main fighter and Raiden as Kameo (since he’s with him during that chapter), so the story-specific Kameos will depend upon who’s present in the chapters.

Rumored and leaked characters have always been a staple for Mortal Kombat games, and this one isn’t any different. Here’s a list of all rumored characters and Kameos in Mortal Kombat 1:

  • Nitara (base game)
  • Doomslayer (Kombat Pack 2)
  • Noob Saibot (Kombat Pack 2
  • Kano (Kombat Pack 2)
  • Sareena (Kombat Pack 2)
  • Harley Quinn (Kombat Pack 2)
  • Deathstroke (Kombat Pack 2)
  • Drahmim (Kameo)
  • Bo’Rai Cho (Kameo)
  • Hsu Hao (Kameo)
  • Moloch (Kameo)

Take this information with a grain of salt, as nothing is konfirmed. But considering how well the previous leaks have been lining up with what’s actually in the game, I wouldn’t be surprised if the rumored characters end up in the game.

That’s a list of all konfirmed and leaked characters and Kameos so far. We’ll update this page as soon as more information is revealed. Keep an eye out for Kombat Kasts every week and Netherrealm’s socials for more reveals.

4. About Mortal Kombat 1

Developer NetherRealm Studios has officially revealed Mortal Kombat 1, the next chapter in its long-running fighting game series, which was released on September 19th. It takes on that name, rather than the expected Mortal Kombat 12 name, because–as previous teasers hinted at–Mortal Kombat 1 is a sort-of-reboot of the series and takes place in the New Era timeline established by Liu Kang after he ascended to godhood in 2019’s Mortal Kombat 11.
