Glad to see that the series has circled back to the girl she first met in school. Akebi is a happy-go-lucky girl who makes friends with everyone.

Episode 6 Recap
Akebi finds herself staring at Kazaki more than usual. She is pretty, plays instruments well, and is generally very cool. Akebi is proud that such a girl is her friend.
Akebi wants to pick the right time to invite Kazaki over to her place. She waits and waits and all days of the week go by. She finally gets the courage to ask Kazaki what she thinks about leaky-roofed houses (because hers is leaky).
Kazaki says she thinks they should be repaired. Akebi feels discouraged and doesn’t invite her over. They go to the library together, and Kazaki talks about how fascinated she is with fishing.
So Akebi invites her to fish in a lake near her house. Kazaki gets there an hour early, and from there, they go to the fishing spot. Kazaki brought fancy fishing gear but couldn’t catch one fish, while Akebi caught two with her home gear.
Kazaki’s hook gets caught on a pole, and as she’s removing it, it gets stuck again. This time it’s a big fish, and with Akebi’s help, they reel it in. When they’re done clicking pictures, she releases the fish.
Kazaki needs to change, so Akebi brings her over to her house, and Kazaki loves the red-tiled roof. Akebi’s mother calls Kazaki Erika-chan right away, and Akebi feels jealous.
Akebi takes care of Kazaki, from scrubbing her back to drying her hair. Akebi’s mom gives her beverages, and Akebi’s sister is cute too.
As all of them come to drop Kazaki off, she feels grateful. She yells to Akebi that she should call her Erica from now.
