Episode 10 of Akebi’s Sailor Uniform starts with Akebi getting well-meaning once-over looks from her classmates because she’s wearing her summer uniform. It has a cute big red bow on her collar, making her look beautiful.
The girls split up into their sports-related groups, and Akebi goes to her cheering squad. Nawashiro shows them how to make vinyl tapes into pompoms. When these girls are cheering, they’re cheering for everybody. Will other students have a go at cheering as well?

Episode 11 Speculations
That scene where Neko-chan lets herself be at ease and lays her head on Shijou’s lap was hilarious. Shijou even patted Neko-chan’s head as she fell asleep, and it’s one of the cutest things I’ve ever seen. This episode saw some heart-bursting cuteness.
I’m also looking forward to seeing Akebi do something else at this sports event since no player is given only one category of participation.
If it is swimming again, I’d want her to win against Riri, but most importantly, I’d like to see Akebi get pushed out of her comfort zone. Is that even possible? Does she even have anything outside her comfort zone?

Episode 10 Recap
Akebi wears her summer uniform for the first time, and her friends, Usagihara, Riri, and Erika, think the red bow makes her look beautiful. Riri says they do not have much classwork left till the sports events start.
The girls partner up with other candidates from the same sports category. Akebi meets with Nawashiro, Tanigawa, and Neko-chan to make pompoms from vinyl tape.
Erika talks to Shijou, her opponent, who asks if she played tennis. Erika tells her she only played tennis in her summer house sometimes, but she didn’t play often. Shijou looks nervous and jittery the entire scene.
Akebi and her troupe get to the gym practice room to cheer the hell out of everyone. They cheer for the table tennis team, but Tougeguchi hates the screaming. She then shows Akebi some actual moves her team can use.
Tanigawa has to go to basketball practice, so her cheer squad goes to support her there as well. The group does the same for Neko-chan at the dojo. They spot the runners and cheer for them too.
Shijou and Erika are seen practicing, and Shijou has a problem serving, almost as if she’s forgotten how to play tennis. Erika asks her to take a break and thinks going to practice with the cheer squad won’t be a bad idea.
Shijou participates wholeheartedly, but she still isn’t happy with her cheering. So she practices a bunch more to make it perfect. As their cheering ends, she seems to have remembered how serving in tennis works, and she looks like she’ll do great at this sports event.
