About Log Horizon

The Log Horizon franchise began online by Mamare Touno and Kazuhiro Hara a decade ago, back in 2010. The duo published their first light novel in 2011 and has progressed the story since then. Thus far, the franchise has had many manga adaptations inspired by the original light novel, and of course, there is an anime adaptation as well.

Season one of Log Horizon launched in October 2013, followed by the second season in October 2014. Crunchyroll aired both seasons with English subtitles simultaneously as they aired in Japan. Sentai Filmworks handled the licensing for the anime series in North America. They also released the first season on two Blu-ray and DVD volumes in 2014 and 2015, respectively. The same was followed for the second season in 2016. A third season of the series is set to premiere in January 2021.
