Tom Sizemore Hospitalized in Critical Condition After Brain Aneurysm

Famous Hollywood actor Tom Sizemore was recently admitted to the hospital after experiencing a brain aneurysm.

Tom Sizemore is recognized for his brilliant acting career in the 1990s, where he portrayed tough guys in action and dramatic films, including hits such as Point Break and True Romance.

Although he has starred in numerous successful films, Sizemore’s notable performances came during the late 1990s and early 2000s, with films like Saving Private Ryan, Black Hawk Down, and Pearl Harbor.

Variety reports that Sizemore is in critical condition at the hospital. The 61-year-old was found in his home in LA at around 2 a.m. and was promptly hospitalized.

His representatives confirmed the news and stated that his family is aware of his condition but is awaiting updates as the situation is described as a “wait and see” scenario.

Tom Sizemore uttered the inspirational titular line in the movie Saving Private Ryan.

He has had recurring roles in TV series like Hawaii Five-0 and Shooter. Moreover, he received a Golden Globe nomination in 2000 for his performance in the TV film Witness Protection.

Despite facing legal issues related to domestic violence and drug possession, Sizemore has accumulated a substantial list of film and TV credits.

However, in 2019, the actor was booked for possession of “various illegal narcotics.” Sizemore has been forthcoming about his addiction struggles, which date back to when he was just 15 years old. In a 2010 interview with Larry King, he spoke about his struggles with cocaine, meth, and heroin.

Additionally, he participated in Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew in the same year. In 2017, Sizemore was also convicted of domestic violence.

Sizemore recently managed to secure the role of Doctor Tom in the Tubi TV comedy Barbee Rehab. Additionally, he has two more projects in development, The Getter and Made Vicious.

Tom Sizemore has been one of the busiest actors post-pandemic and has been a part of seven films in 2020, eight in 2021, and ten more last year. This includes his role in the female revenge thriller The Legend of Jack and Diane.
