Assassin’s Creed: System Specifications for Mirage leave fans shocked

The release of Assassin’s Creed Mirage is inching closer. As the release date of October 5th draws closer, Ubisoft shares new information.

Ubisoft’s official Twitter shared the hardware specifications for Assassin’s Creed Mirage in four different categories, namely Minimum for 1080p 30FPS gameplay, Recommended for 1080p 60FPS, Enthusiast for 1440p @ 60FPS, and Ultra for 2160p at Ultra preset and 60 FPS. The corresponding hardware was also shared.

To hit the sweet spot, i.e., Recommended, players must have an Intel Arc A750 with 8GB VRAM or Nvidia GeForce 1660 Ti with 6GB of VRAM. Another alternative is the AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT with 6GB of VRAM. The CPU of choice should be at least an Intel Core i7-8700K or an AMD Ryzen 5 3600.

Those looking for 2K gaming at High Preset and 60 FPS will require a more sophisticated rig. The Enthusiast option requires an Intel Arc A770 with 8GB of VRAM, Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 with 8GB of VRAM, or an AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT with 8GB of VRAM. The processor of choice should be an Intel Core i7-9700K or a Ryzen 7 3700X.

Those aiming for the best possible experience of 9th-century Baghdad in Assassin’s Creed Mirage will require the best possible configuration across all fronts. To run on ultra-preset at 60FPS, players will need Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 with 10GB of VRAM or AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT with 16 GB of VRAM.

The processor has to be atleast an Intel i5-11600K or a Ryzen 5 5600X. All these configurations recommend atleast 16GB of dual-channel RAM. An SSD is recommended with atleast 40GB of free space.

Ubisoft mentioned that Assassin’s Creed Mirage will require DirectX 12 at the outset. There is an option for an uncapped frame rate. Hybrid input is supported with multi-monitor and widescreen support.

The developers recommend an in-game benchmark for performance analysis. However, fans have been left surprised by the system requirements, which are “decent” by recent standards. The release date cannot come sooner for the Assassin’s Creed franchise fans.

About Assassin’s Creed Mirage

Assassin’s Creed Mirage is an action-adventure game developed by Ubisoft Bordeaux and published by Ubisoft. The game is the thirteenth primary installment in the Assassin’s Creed series and the successor to 2020’s Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. While its historical timeframe precedes that of Valhalla, its modern-day framing story succeeds Valhalla’s own.

Set in 9th-century Baghdad during the Islamic Golden Age—in particular during the Anarchy at Samarra—the story follows Basim Ibn Ishaq (a character first introduced in Valhalla), a street thief who joins the Hidden Ones to fight for peace and liberty against the Order of the Ancients,[b] who desire peace through control. The main narrative focuses on Basim’s internal struggle between his duties as a Hidden One and his desire to uncover his mysterious past.
