Assassin’s Creed Mirage fan likens in-game outfit to Destiny 2’s Guardian

Summary:

  • A keen Assassin’s Creed Mirage has found a striking similarity between an outfit and Destiny 2’s Guardian.
  • Milad’s Outfit, with its faceless appearance, looks undeniably like a Guardian from Destiny 2.
  • Some fans could not believe that the character was from AC: Mirage and not from Destiny 2.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage has been quite a breath of fresh air for the fans of the Assassin’s Creed franchise, who were complaining of fatigue from overly large maps and considerable storylines in the epic titles of Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla.

An eagle-eyed fan of the Assassin, u/_Anonymous_ has pointed out that a particular outfit in Assasisn’s Creed Mirage looks straight from Destiny 2. Upon closer inspection, it is Milad’s outfit, especially the faceless mask, making it look like the skin is from Destiny.

The dystopian look of the outfit is unmistakable in the game. It resembles a Guardian from Destiny 2, a game set in a dystopian world.

The skin can be unlocked by completing the “Ancient Place” quest. This quest requires the user to collect five mysterious shards around Baghdad.

After completing this side-quest, players have to reach a chest in a lake north of Baghdad using the shards. This allows them to unlock and collect Milad’s outfit and dress like they are playing Destiny 2 in the Assassin’s Creed universe.

For most fans, Milad’s outfit is one of the coolest in-game. Some fans even entertained the thought of Milad’s outfit being an “ancient Destiny concept art.”

Some other players commented that unless mentioned, they would not have guessed that the image is from Assassin’s Creed.

Also, when Milad’s outfit is combined with the Forgotten Terror Perk, Air Assassinations set off a lighting flash to distract bystanders. This is similar to flashing in Destiny 2 and many other PvP titles.

With Update 1.0.7 setting the record straight and introducing Permadeath mode in AC: Mirage, players can replay the title and try out Milad’s outfit, amongst others, if they have not already.
