Two of the new series being from the same author and illustrator, Maria Llovet, the Spanish creator is well known for her haunting work in Faithless and Heartbreak. If you are a fan of the works that depict intimacy and death, then her works are just up your alley.

ABLAZE will launch Maria Llovet’s latest graphic novel titled “Porcelain” on 4th August and publish the hardcover edition of Llovet’s Eros/Psyche on 29th September. Both the titles will be available in the physical and online versions.

The Porcelain visual is an intricate intertwining of threads, woods, skeletons, and much more. At the center of the poster sits the main protagonist Beryl, with half her body turning into a doll, eerily depicting her struggle from becoming porcelain.

As you can guess, most of the narrative is done by the illustrator’s psychedelic visuals. The story follows Beryl, who gets pulled into a dollhouse, where she has to survive and escape before becoming the building’s next prey.

The series is set to debut with five special variant covers by acclaimed artists and each copy will cost $3.99.

Eros/Psyche is full of bewitching tales set in an all-girls boarding school called “Rose.” The story follows a budding romance between Sara and Silje, which threatens to break under the weight of the dark society within Rose.

The hardcover edition of the series is set to start at $24.99 per set.

I am quite intrigued by both titles that ABLAZE offers this Halloween; both the visual novel has beautiful art that goes along with the story. The author also sets up quite exciting mysteries.

Will the duo within Rose carve out space for themselves? Or will they fold? Such questions also arise for Beryl trapped in the dollhouse. Both the series are full of beautiful yet eerie artwork by the talented Maria Llovet, and I am sure that her works will be a perfect addition to any horror fans’ library.

So be sure to grab yourself a copy!
