Honey Lemon Soda, a cute love story between a shy girl and an outspoken boy, has just revealed a July premiere date for its live-action film adaptation.
The name of the series comes from the hair color of Kai Miura, the male protagonist of the story.
Ishimori calls him Lemon Soda Boy, an apt nickname! Kai will eventually recognize Ishimori’s shyness and help her interact with others and make friends throughout the movie.
Honey Lemon Soda’s live-action movie adaptation will premiere on 9th July in theatres in Japan. A new trailer has also been revealed!
The trailer reveals the first meeting of Kai and Ishimori in high school. Kai had mistakenly sprayed soda over her! Even though they had a rocky start, Kai looks out for her in every difficult situation she faces.
With some adorable and heart-thumping scenes, the trailer goes on to remind us about the pleasures of youth.
“HELLO HELLO” is the theme song of the upcoming film, performed by Snow Man. The song is also previewed in the trailer.
A bright and refreshing new visual is also revealed for the movie!
Raul, a member of the Snow Man band, is playing the role of Kai. The visual is very summery and sweet with both the main characters in it.
