The kids are soon hit with the reality that it is filled with flesh-hungry demons rather than caring adults. After receiving worldwide attention with its manga and anime, the series is gearing towards a new media platform.

The staff of The Promised Neverland series has just tweeted that the series will receive a game application. However, the genre and other details of the game are still unannounced.

Shirai and Posuka Demizu’s The Promised Neverland manga was the 4th top-selling manga of 2019. It was the 6th best-selling manga in 2020. It has won several awards, like the 63rd Shogakukan Manga Award.

Crunchyroll awarded the anime the “Best Fantasy Anime Award” in 2020. A live-action film adaptation for the series also premiered in December 2020.

The Promised Neverland manga ended in June 2020 after running in the Weekly Shonen Jump for 4 years. Both Viz Media and MANGA Plus digitally published it.

A one-shot story called “Spirit Photographer Saboro-kun” was published by Shirai and Posuka in August 2020.

The first season of the series’ anime adaptation was streamed on HULU, Funimation, Crunchyroll, and HIDIVE; the first season aired from January to March 2019.

The second season started airing on 8th January 2021 after getting delayed due to the COVID 19 pandemic.

About The Promised Neverland

Created by Kaiu Shirai, this series debuted in a Weekly Shonen Jump manga in 2016. Licensed by VIZ Media for an English Language release, this series has gained immense popularity, selling 4.2 million copies in a concise period.

It’s set in the year 2045. Emma, an 11-year-old orphan, living in Grace Field House is a self-contained orphanage housing her and 37 other orphans.

The orphans are allowed complete freedom, except to venture beyond the grounds or the gate, which connects the house to the outside world.

One night, Emma comes to know the truth about the Orphanage and it’s connections to the demons.

Determined to break out of Grace Field House, Norman and Emma join with Ray to find a way to escape along with their other siblings.
