Episode 10 of 86 Eighty-Six Part 2, titled “All That’s Left,” is the latest installment of the anime.
This episode finally showed us the showdown between Kiri and Shin. It was clear that Shin would have never been able to defeat Kiri and the Morpho without his teammates and Frederica, but this mission might have caused them all to lose their lives.
From the beginning of the episode, the group was separated. This was due to an overwhelming number of attacks by the Legion. In the episode’s final moments, the Morpho activates self-destruct with Shin, Frederica, and possibly Raiden in the vicinity.

Episode 11 Speculation
In the latest episode, we saw how all the members of the 86 are seriously in danger. First, Anju, Theo, and Kurena stayed behind to hold down the Legion’s attacks. Then, Raiden tried his best to save Frederica and Shin.
Finally, Shin and Frederica were caught up in an explosion caused by the Morpho.
In the next episode, we’ll find out if the 86 managed to survive or not. Even though their deaths were heavily implied, we cannot be sure since no dead bodies were actually shown.

Episode 10 Recap
Shin and his team continue chasing after Morpho, intending to kill Kiri. They are bombarded by the attacks by the Legion’s reinforcements and are forced to separate one by one.
First, Anju’s vessel is struck by one of the Legion’s missiles, so much so that she’s unable to climb back up. She decides to stay back to deflect as many enemies as possible.
Next, Theo notices how the attacks were getting more intense and were getting in their way when they were fighting the Morpho. He decides to stay behind as a decoy and promises to be careful.
Kiri notices how the group is splitting up and feels that he’s bringing shame to the Nouzen clan by letting ordinary soldiers find him. He shoots multiple rounds towards Shin and his group, making Kurena stay back to deal with all the scattered attacks.
Raiden gets severely injured while protecting Frederica. He, too, is unable to move forward. Shin orders Fido to carry Frederica to safety while he decides to face Kiri alone. Frederica is against this but has no choice other than to watch over Shin as he battles Kiri.
His swift movements help him dodge every single of Kiri’s attacks but unfortunately, his canon gets damaged. Shin gets too close to Kiri, not knowing that he also specialized in close combat like him, almost getting killed.
Raiden assists him one last time by interfering and distracting Kiri just in time. Kiri aims at Raiden, giving Shin time to escape from his death.
Shin is also assisted by an unknown source who sends in a long-range support missile that shoots at the Morpho, confusing him further. As their battle continues, Frederica is afraid for Shin’s life and takes matters into her own hands by entering the battlefield.
She shoots from a rifle to get Kiri’s attention and asks him why he is still fighting. She tells him to stop and assures him that he has already done enough. Kiri is beyond surprised to see his princess but misunderstands the situation. He feels as if the Republic has kidnapped her for their own gain.
Enraged, he starts firing even more recklessly at Shin, and this is when Frederica points the gun towards her head. Shocked, Kiri pauses firing at Shin, and aims towards stopping Frederica from pulling the trigger.
This gives Shin an opening, and he asks Frederica about Kiri’s exact location. She tells her that he’s behind the main gun, and Shin destroys the core of the Morpho along with Kiri.
We then cut to Frederica’s vision of a what-if situation where Kiri, Shin, and Rei are together, protecting her. Kiri and Rei then walk over to the afterlife, entrusting Frederica’s safety to Shin.
The Morpho activates its self-destruct mode on the battlefield with Kiri’s death. An explosion ensues with both Shin and Frederica in the vicinity.

86 follows the story of a 16-year-old girl, Vladilena Milizé, better known as Lena. Lena serves as a major in the Republic of San Magnolia’s army and a handler for the ‘Processors’ of the Republic’s ‘unmanned drones’ known as Juggernauts.
Their goal is to use these drones to defend against Legion drones developed by the Giadian Empire, which started a war with them a while back. However, there is also a dark secret which the Republic holds.
