Genshin Impact leakers are at it again with new leaks to invoke a wave of joy amongst keen fans waiting for news. This comes in the form of new updates to the Genius Invokation TCG game mode.
Genius Invokation TCG was one of the first mini games introduced to Genshin by developers HoYoVerse. Playable as a trading card game, it was introduced in ver. 3.3.
As per new leaks, 65 total cards are being planned for ver. 3.7. It will feature 13 new Character Cards, split between popular playable characters like Raiden Shogun, Nahida, and Hu Tao along with enemies like Electro Hypostasis and Fatui Cryo Cicin Mage. It will also bring new Equipment cards like Amos Bow and Thundering Poise Artifacts.
The leaks also showcased a variety of new Event and Location cards based on settings from the game’s story. “Sangonomiya Shrine” and “Vanarana” will receive their own cards.
NPCs who are prominent in the game like Rana and Dunyarzad from Sumeru will also be receiving their own cards. The Archons are set to receive their own special Talent Cards.
These Talent cards would provide buffs that last the length of the match based on the region the character hails from. As per reliable sources, it is speculated that all of Genius Invokation TCG’s new cards are expected to drop at a TCG-focused event in ver. 3.7.
The inclusion of 13 new cards, taking the tally up to 65, will be the biggest update to Genius Invokation TCG since its launch. Hoyoverse, however, isn’t simply resting easy with expansions to the roster.
They are looking to introduce some changes similar to the “Heated Battle” which provides special mechanics and deckbuilding restrictions. The developers have also nerfed powerful Genius Invokation TCG cards to balance the game.
While these are just rumors, Genshin Leakers are mostly reliable. Thus, we can expect a ton of changes to the TCG mode in the coming version amidst a host of changes to the game, coming through versions 3.7 to 4.0.
