A glitch in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War has been discovered, which allows players to jump high into the air with a melee attack.
Throughout the years, we’ve had a fair share of glitches and exploits in the Call of Duty series that may or may not be utilized for unfair advantage in the game.
Just go and take a look at the recent infinite stim exploit in Call of Duty: Warzone, which allowed players to carry an infinite supply of stims and stay outside the circle for an indefinite amount of time.
When found in multiplayer games, that kind of exploit can be pretty problematic in its own right as it can lead to a lot of game-breaking situations.
Of course, today’s exploit that we’re talking about isn’t as game-breaking as the stim glitch. Not to mention, it is very situational and needs specific requirements to be met to be pulled off.
We’re talking about the very difficult-to-pull super jumps that have been recently discovered in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.
Essentially, in order to pull this stunt off, you need an enemy that should be standing on a particular rock, in a particular map with you trying to melee them without dying.
Yeah, when I said it’s situational, I meant it in every meaning of the word.
Anyhow, it’s pretty unlikely that if you’re someone who’s a core-only player, you’ll be seeing this glitch anytime soon.
But, if you’re a hardcore player, then things are a little different, considering how in that mode, friendly fire is enabled, meaning that you can pull this glitch off with a teammate as well.

Regardless, it’s pretty clear that this glitch will require a lot of practice, but at the same time, it can provide a certain level of advantage to the players if done right. That said, it’ll undoubtedly be interesting to see whether something like this is used by professional teams as well.
