Fans are hoping to see a lot more growth from Chikako in terms of fighting and overall just being the tiny-nice girl.

Maybe she could be put in a position where she’ll have to do more than shooting and running, just how Osamu engages more actively in combat.

There is also the problem of Commander Kido that needs sorting out. The fact that he wishes to use Hyuse for the away mission as a guide, but plans to knock him out and not let him return to Aftokrator is what he aims to do is extremely worrisome.

Will Hyuse or Osamu have anticipated this below the belt move already and have countermeasures planned?

Episode 1 Recap

In the  first episode we see that Hyuse comes in and casually informs everyone that he’s joined B-rank in just half a day like it’s no big deal.

Then all the Tamakoma-2 members put their uniforms on and Hyuse makes it clear to Osamu that he won’t be following any instructions from him that he doesn’t deem to be necessary.

Osamu said that it would be okay for now since his main goal would be getting into the away squad.

Later two senior members of Tamakoma would be arriving to help, Yuri Rindo and Mikhail Kronin who is “from Canada” As soon as they arrive. As soon as they arrive Reiki begins gushing over Yuri.

After exchanging pleasantries they immediately get to business. Kronin is told that Hyuse has to go around as his son because he’s not exactly from around there, but they decide that “nephew” would be a better choice.

When asked, Osamu tells Rondo that the Tamakoma will be facing off against the Kageura Squad, the Azuma Squad and Suzunari-1 Squad.

They also discuss the ranks of the teams and Tamakoma-2 is at the forth place, but even though they did lose a few times now they have better chances with Hyuse on board.

Kronin helps Hyuse evaluate his trigger set, as Osamu and others review logs for future opponents, and in conversation everyone comes to know that he’s going to live at Tamakoma’s quarters from now on.

Chikako, Yuri and Reiji help out in setting up Osamu’s room and Yuri tells him that there’s some stuff left over from the previous occupant, and from a picture he finds out that it was none other than Commander Kido’s room.

Talking to Yuri, he found out that out of the nineteen kids in the picture ten had died from the war five years ago and that some of them became black triggers. This is the reason for  Commander Kido’s ire, perhaps?

In the end, Chikako and Yuma go to the HQ together, where Yuma plays with his next opponents and Chikako gets her sniper training.

A mysterious white-haired kid named Yūma Kuga gets transferred to the local school. Mikumo becomes the perfect guide for Kuga to save him from being discovered by Border.
