World Trigger Season 3 Ep 3: Release Date, Speculation, Watch Online

The previous episode started with the snipers of different teams in their radar search training.

As they finish and discuss scores, they meet Oki, who starts flirting with Chikako. She seems uncomfortable, and Yuzuru immediately comes to her defense.

Kage treats them to some okonomiyaki, and there he tells everyone that Yuzuru has a crush on Chikako, so much so that he wants to throw the next match and let her win. Arafune lets him know that it isn’t necessary and there are other ways to help.

Osamu wants to get a new trigger, but his trion levels are limited, but they still have an ace up their sleeve. Hyuse joining the Tamakoma throws off the calculations of other teams because not much is known about him. Only Yuzuru seems confident.

Episode 3 Speculations

In episode two, Yuzuru seemed pretty confident about beating the Tamakoma team even after coming to know a new opponent with unknown capabilities had joined the Tamakoma team. What countermeasures does he have planned to ensure his victory?

Since Osamu’s trion levels aren’t enough for an additional trigger, he might have planned to take one out and add another. There is also the question of their coordination since adding another team member this late might cause some confusion.

Episode 3 Release Date

Episode 3 of the World Trigger season three anime has been released on Saturday, Oct 23, 2021. The episode title or preview has not been shown.

Episode 2 Recap

In the beginning, we see Yuzuru and Chikako sitting side by side, talking about their flaws in the shooting. It then cuts to Chikako and others shooting away at their radar search training.

As the training comes to an end and everyone discusses their scores, Koji Oki greets them.

When mocked about how he couldn’t shoot Chikako, saying that it’s more like he didn’t because Chikako is tiny like a cute little sister, shamelessly flirting with her.

Yuzuru, unable to keep up with the nonsense, asks Oki to stop because Chikako is visibly uncomfortable.

At the okonomiyaki restaurant, Kage tells everyone that it is a good thing considering Kage tells everyone that Yuzuru has a crush on Chikako, so much so that he plans to throw the next match so that Chikako can get a few points to join the away team.

Kuga informs him she’s already going because of her high trion levels. Yuzuru insists that their team should still have more points because going along with her whole team would be safer.

At the restaurant, they meet Arafune and Hokari, who suggest Yuzuru go with Chikako to ensure her safety and that he doesn’t have to throw the match. Kuga tells him that no matter he throws the match or not, Tamakoma is sure to win.

Zoe says he’s glad that Chikako can’t shoot anyone, otherwise, beating her would be impossible with the amount of trion she has, but Toma disagrees.

Toma thinks that Chikako can shoot people but doesn’t. He then asks Kuga to push Chikako to her limits on the away mission and make her shoot people.

Osamu reviews logs of other teams and concludes that Suzunari-1 was moving around a lot better. They must have thought about countermeasures for Osamu’s wire trigger, so he wants to add a new one.

Unfortunately his trion levels are already at their limit, so he needs to take one out to use a new one.

In the end, all other teams are surprised that a rookie called Hyuse has joined Tamakoma throwing off their calculations, but Yuzuru doesn’t seem fazed at all and says it won’t make a difference. How full proof are his plans?
