Morihito and Nico each move into their own battles, and Nico actually won her battle against the Warlock with much ease, thanks to Kanshi’s help. 2. Recap of Episode 12 of Witch Watch
The latest episode of Witch Watch featured the battle between Nico, Kanshi, and the Warlock. This witch brought the numerous students she had brainwashed to the park to have Nico caught, and she blended in with the crowd so she wouldn’t be caught. Nico and Kanshi used the spell of invisibility to move into the crowd. Since Nico has the alert spell on her as a default, she would know if the Warlock was close by.
This strategy didn’t work, though, as the witch realized their tactic and had all the boys attack the air indiscriminately. Since their initial plan flopped, Nico decided to go with a more risky plan, where she flew over the whole crowd to try and detect the most suspicious-looking person, and attack him. Sure enough, there was a man who looked more suspicious than the other, and Kanshi attacked him, which caused the Witch’s mind control to get dispelled.
Interestingly enough, this man wasn’t the witch. A pipsqueak of a witch, tinier than a squirrel, emerged from within the hair of the boy and was immediately caught by the two. At this point, Nemu also woke up and joined the two. She then revealed that Keigo was actually the wolf. On hearing this, the whole group headed to the artificial space created by the witch to see Morihito and Keigo in an intense battle. As Kanshi had mentioned, the two were evenly matched.
Morihito was having a hard time fighting him, especially because of how Keigo had previously told him that he was glad to finally make friends. Regardless, on Nico’s arrival, the battle quickly reached an end. When they questioned the Warlock about who was responsible for the plan to capture Nico, the witch suddenly had all her mana sucked away. Clearly, a spell was cast on her to prevent her from leaking any information. It was also revealed that the Warlock was not an actual witch, but attained powers later, so she didn’t possess the magical cure for wounds and ailments.
Keigo then returned to his original form and revealed that he did what he did to get his hands on the potion of healing. He really regretted backstabbing the same people who accepted him as a friend, but Nico decided to give him her potion of recovery anyway. Later, it was revealed that Keigo didn’t want the potion for himself, but he wanted to heal his mother, who had gotten into an accident and sacrificed her life for him.
3. Speculation of Episode 13 of Witch Watch
The latest episode of Witch Watch had quite an emotional ending, as Keigo, Kanshi, and Nico cried as Keigo’s mother was freed from her disability. Finally, we saw Keigo move into Morihito’s house, which was a shocking turn of events, but this makes sense too because Keigo’s mother also had a career prior to her injury, and Keigo wanted her to live her life for herself.
The upcoming episode of Witch Watch will feature more of the discord in Morihito’s house due to the new addition, Keigo. He will also likely turn into the wolf a few times under the same roof. Since Nemu has also been showing up a lot more lately, we’ll likely see her having fun with everyone as well.
