With Call of Duty: Black Ops – Cold War set to launch within a week, Activision revealed the roadmap for Season 1 of the game. It will commence on December 10. One can expect this seasonal content to bring along a wide variety of new content like myriad weapons, maps, game modes.
There is more than a month to go for the release of this seasonal rollout. Thus, no particular details have been provided yet. It’s clear that Activision wants an enigma to surround the forthcoming military shooting game.
However, we do know that the new content will also cover the Zombie Mode that the Cold War will pack. This is good news for every enthusiast of the series as it ensures that the Zombie Mode will not be hung to dry. Also, the possibilities of it receiving further updates increase too.
It has also been confirmed that the 2v2 Gunfight Mode that Modern Warfare is probably best known for will be brought to Cold War too.
In order to mark the coming of Call of Duty: Black Ops – Cold War’s Season 1, Activision disclosed an image poster. It gives a slight idea to players regarding what to expect.
As seen in the image, players can see the popular character, Woods engaging in combat at a shopping mall. This might give you some hint on what kind of locations the upcoming season will house.
Coming to something concrete now, the popular Nuketown map will also feature in the game.
Moreover, it has been confirmed by Activision and Treyarch that “Warzone experience” will be brought as a part of new content too. Although, its arrival still sparks a lot of doubts. There are rumors that it might be a limited-time mode.
