Out of Darkness | Official Trailer | Bleecker Street

The two-and-a-half-minute trailer portrays precisely why this movie should excite the horror enthusiast in you. The setting feels like a concoction of Apple TV+’s ‘See’ with the creepy undertone of ‘Hereditary.’

The most unique aspect of the film is that it is set 45000 years ago in the Stone Age. Therefore, it connects the pre-historic animalistic carnage with the pure adrenaline rush of a horror flick. Enticing right?

Six travelers reach a desolate island on their boat, and the survival theme of the film immediately kicks in. They try to find a shelter before nightfall in the unknown land. However, they soon discover the terrifying reality: they are not alone. Whatever is there on the island wants them dead.

A gruesome sight of a mutilated mammoth declares the adversities of the land early on in the trailer. Moreover, the travelers discover human-like creatures on the island who we think are cannibals.

Whether they are the only threat on the island or just the start of the worst is something we will find out when the film hits theaters in 2024!

Got the rare talent to binge an entire show in a single sitting just like that. Although a sucker for psychological thrillers, no bias for any genre when it comes to a good story. A living proof that Netflix and chill is not a myth!
