The Case Study of Vanitas 2 Ep 1: Release Date, Speculation, Watch Online

The Case Study of Vanitas will be back this winter, with Noe and Vanitas heading towards Gevaudan to cure another vampire-turned-monster.

As of now, we know that Vanitas’ mission is to cure all the cursed vampires, and he will use any means to achieve this. Noe, who initially followed Vanitas due to intrigue, has also joined Vanitas in his mission to help others.

Will Vanitas and Noe succeed in their new task? Is this new monster also linked to Charlatan in some way? Stay tuned to find out.

Episode 1 Speculation

The previous cour ended with Vanitas and Noe leaving Paris for Gevaudan, where a blood-thirsty monster has begun killing locals. Vanitas believes that this monster might be a cursed vampire and could be cured by him.

We’ll also meet a new character, Astolfo, a Chasseur. He also plans to end the killing spree in Gevaudan by slaying the beast. It seems like Astolfo firmly believes that all vampires should die, so he might cause trouble for Noe.

Apart from the Gevaudan beast slaying, I hope we learn more about Vanitas and his mysterious past.

The Case Study of Vanitas manga is created by Jun Mochizuka. It started serialization in the Monthly Gangan Joker magazine in December 2015. It is receiving an anime adaptation in July 2021.

Noe, a young vampire, is in search of a cursed book called The Book of Vanitas. However, on his flight to Paris, he comes face to face with Vanitas and realizes that he is a self-proclaimed vampire doctor.

Somehow Noe ends up as Vanitas’ partner to heal vampires who are going feral under an evil influence.
