2. Recap of Episode 4 of The Beginning After The End
The fourth episode of The Beginning After The End started with Arthur hearing a loud scream in the forest, and he immediately rushed to the location to investigate. He discovered that a band of goons was trying to kidnap an elf girl to sell her as a slave. He found the situation quite similar to the one he had with his family, so he was determined to help her. He waited till dusk after the goons had settled down to try and save her.
His attempt to save her immediately attracted attention from the men, and shockingly enough, Arthur managed to kill two men almost instantly with his magic. He then had to face another more crafty goon, who was also a sorcerer. The man wanted to capture Arthur alive as he would also potentially fetch more money than an elf, but Arthur was too strong for the man to subdue, and he was also killed by the young boy.
After wiping all the enemies out, Arthur saved the elf girl and was about to set out on his own journey, but got stopped by the girl, who was too afraid to find her way back home on her own. Arthur now had newly found kindness thanks to his time with Sylvia, so he chose to accompany the girl to her home even though it would set him back on his journey. As they ventured, he learned that the girl’s name was Tessia Eralith, and realised that she was far different from him, and could probably be considered a normal child.
Tessia slowly grew on Arthur along their journey, and shared a lot about herself, her family, and the Kingdom of Elenoir. She was also quite concerned about Arthur, and had him sleep with her at night to ensure his safety. Arthur, on the other hand, felt quite annoyed and restless as he couldn’t meet his family, but bore with the situation. One unexpected happening that happened on their journey was when Arthur suddenly felt immense pain coming from his mana core, which set them back on their journey a bit.
There was no explanation for the pain Arthur felt, but Arthur had to bear with it for the remainder of their journey. None of the herbs Tessia collected for Arthur seemed to work for him, which was obvious since she assumed he had a tummy ache, and Arthur didn’t bother to tell her about how he could use magic, or that he had pain in his mana core. The episode came to an end after Tessia and Arthur stepped into a portal in the forest that supposedly led to Elenoir.
3. Speculation of Episode 5 of The Beginning After The End
The post-credit scene of the latest episode of The Beginning After the End featured Arthur getting apprehended by many guards in Elenoir. Shockingly, Tessia, who clearly seemed to be an important person in the Kingdom, did not bat an eye when this happened, and she did not explain the situation to the men who captured Arthur.
Since Tessia previously told Arthur that elves did not trust humans or people from other races, it is only expected for the guards to have acted the way they did. In the upcoming episode, we will get to see how Arthur manages to escape from them. Since he is only a child who helped Tessia get back home, we can expect someone to step up for him..
