The latest episode of The Beginning After The End started at the Auction House, where Arthur was pretty wonderstruck on seeing all the items for auction. He even got to see his dad working, which he found to be really cool. Shortly after, the auction program started, and the king of Sapin and his family were introduced to the public, which was followed by a roar of applause.

The program featured the puppy of a World Lion, which is a powerful mana beast. The prince of the country asked his father to get the mana beast, so the king demonstrated his absolute wealth and easily won the haggling at the auction. The King also revealed that he would only offer the beast to his son if he showed any outstanding achievements, without which he would keep the mana beast as his own partner.

Meanwhile, Arthur went to search around the Auction House for Sylvie, who had wandered off when Arthur was focused on the program. He found her with the Conjurer serving the King, and she seemed to be very repulsed by the man. Arthur retrieved Sylvie and began to walk away, but the arrogant man demanded that he hand Sylvie over to him, and he’d be able to put her to good use. Arthur politely refused, but the man insisted, arrogantly ordering Arthur not to rebel against royalty and even threatening to have Arthur’s family bear the consequences.

Unfortunately for the man, he chose the wrong words with Arthur, because Arthur lost any bit of composure he had the moment the Royal Conjurer said those words. The next moment, the whole Auction House was filled with a dark miasma originating from Arthur’s rage-powered mana, which had most people in the auction house, including the Royal Conjurer, gasping for air on the floor. The only people who weren’t affected much by this were Reynolds, some of his men, and the King, all of whom helped resolve the mayhem in the Auction House after Arthur regained his composure.

After everyone was evacuated from the auction house, the King was displeased with Reynolds as he couldn’t find the man responsible, when he told Reynold’s that he’d have to be punished in some way or the other, the Royal Conjurer appeared and asked the king to be merciful as the were no casualties in the Auction House. He then subtly hinted that he wanted Arthur’s mana beast, at which point the King requested that Arthur hand it over. Arthur politely declined this, but the king followed up, asking Arthur to exchange Sylvie with the World Lion he had just bought.

At this point, Arthur was pretty annoyed with the whole situation and asked the King how much he would charge a person if they wanted to buy his own children. This definitely wasn’t a question that a commoner could ask royalty, so the Royal Guards attacked Arthur immediately. Arthur defeated them right before they struck him. Following this, the Royal Conjurer himself cast a spell, but before the spell fully activated, Arthur stopped time (yes, apparently he can do that now), broke the man’s leg, threatened him with his absolute power, dispelled his ability, and immediately fell unconscious.

Interestingly enough, Arthur woke up the next day to find out that they had received no punishment for the previous day’s transgressions. What was more shocking was that the king’s envoy came to visit Arthur’s father and even apologised for what had happened at the Auction House, and offered money as compensation. Reynolds was extremely frustrated that the Royalty raised their weapon on a child, but Arthur knew that this situation was a sweet deal, so he accepted their apology and the gold.

3. Speculation of Episode 11 of The Beginning After The End

The incident at the auction house taught Arthur a valuable lesson: he still lacked absolute power to be able to effectively protect everything he loved. Had he been more powerful, no one would’ve dared to threaten him, his partner, or his family. He knew he’d have to get even stronger, and for this, he even considered Xyrus Academy as an option.

After he checked the academy out, he was led to a strange woman who was wearing a witch’s hat, and even more strangely, she told Arthur that she had been waiting for him. This woman is likely the key for Arthur to get stronger, so we’ll likely be seeing more of her in the upcoming episode.
